NO NEW TUMOR!Views: 463

dr otero told us that they did not find a tumor in/around her uterus! we are really overjoyed, but at the same time a little somber. the pain angel is feeling is caused by a twisted or pinched bowel. she’s been obstructed for the past two days and still having some issues. now that she has doubled her pain meds (causes constipation), she will do the same for the stool softener senna. angel will eat softer foods for the next week and see if this obstruction clears, because surgery is really not a feasible option while she is on chemo. i will update as things unfold. also, if you guys have any yummy and nutritious, softer types of food ideas, feel free to email them to me, especially morning eats.

i’ve gotta hand it to otero. this morning and hours before the MRI, angel mentioned some rumbling-grumbling noises in her large intestine (colon) area. otero used his stethoscope and listened for three minutes straight (renae was really impressed by this). he said it might be a twisted bowel. he was correct.

next, i’ve gotta to hand it to the gynecologist for jumping to conclusions and freaking everyone out. this is the second time someone has brushed off, or blamed something very serious perhaps due to angel’s stage IV diagnosis. who knows, but now we know, and that’s all that matters. angel can continue fighting the great fight she has been doing so well.

and of course, i’ll hand it to myself too. way to go ben! thanks for scary the hell out of everyone. i am sorry ya’all.
we’ve done a fairly good job about not jumping to conclusions, and not to play amateur doctors, but rather wait for the test results, and call the clinic if need be.

anyways, i’m happy with this news, and that now i can be a good little listener tomorrow night at my support group, rather than talk about this mishap.

renea flew out tonight, and her return next month is a like a light at the end of the tunnel for us. her company was greatly appreciated, and we had a lot of fun together. angel misses her already.

paige (angel’s childhood friend) flies in tomorrow for the day for a quick hug and kiss.

That’s such good news! Eventually things will resolve themselves all you have to do it stick it out. You are all in my prayers

you are both in my prayers daily…

That is so great. Fantastic news!

I get the impression that you feel like you over reacted.

I say, hey man let it out! This is the forum for that type of intensity and venting is very necessary for your ability to then go home and be present for your woman!

You are doing good work brother! We have found that banana smoothies and prune juice are pretty good for the smooth movement dilly.

One Love,
Timothy
