FULL OF FURY #6 eveViews: 352

we met with dr. otero on friday. long story short, an MRI is scheduled tomorrow morning before the chemo infusions. this will help determine the size and location of this tumor. if the location is unobstructed, he thinks that targeted radiation or radio frequency ablation can zap it away, or at least alleviate a lot of the pain angel is experiencing.

i know my last post was a little frantic, and might have come off as hopeless (thanks for the calls and emails) but the past couple of days i’m looking back to what angel has gone through and the battles she has won. also, we know the folfiri is still working, and this new tumor is just another hurdle. other things that are still going amazingly well is her appetite, her physical appearance, her sense of humor, her wit, she still plucks her eyebrows (which makes me feel like life is normal), she sleeps throughout the night, no nausea, normal bodily functions. dr. otero is reworking his offenses and we will hear about his new plans after the MRI review.

last night, our dear friends paul and carolyn from vancouver stopped by for the night. we had a lot of fun together, good food and much needed laughter. this morning, one of the first things angel said was how much fun she had, it was really nice to hear. dr. paul really boosted her spirits. i just can’t imagine going through this without such excellent friends and family, all of you who are pulling for angel 1000%.

renae extended her visit until tuesday, and will purchase insurance on her tickets from now on.

i hope tomorrow brings a little bit of good news in the midst of the bad.

Yay! You broke through and were afforded a safe place to do so…good work man, that’s all we can ask for I suppose.

Peace,
Timmy ∂

Dear Ben; You sound very supportive of your dear Angel and that is so important for the loved one who is enduring all the pokes and stabs and fears associated with the Dr.’s news. You as a man are an inspiration to men in general. I have read a lot of posts where the husband/boyfriend does not want much information but good news. You are there for her. That is the important thing. I only hope that we can all as a group comfort you through these trying times. God bless you and Angel. Love and frinedship from Weezie in Canada eh.
