i’m back at it again and working a bit. just wrapped up a semi week worth of work with daryll over at msft. top secret of course so i won’t elaborate any further ;), but it’s been fun. it’s also a series of jobs that will hopefully keep me busy for a little more time.

today was an amazingly warm day for feb. renae emailed early in the a.m. and said that it was -20º in mpls, how screwed up is that?! they’ve had their fair share of the winter freezer burns. renae also told me that she put her clothes in the dryer and forgot to turn it on, and when she checked back, they were frozen! and no she doesn’t store her dryer outside. mad mad.

susan is off with a friend and hanging out with her friend’s 94 year old grandmother, sounds very familiar. susan will be back this sunday to hang until wednesday. it’s been a lot of fun, and she’s helped out with more organizing and tying up loose ends with various social services for angel. this morning angel was weeping in thankfulness with all the help susan was giving.

i had a busy day that for once didn’t include a run-n-wait at the pharmacy. i worked all day, and then picked up some printouts of angel’s mug for the fundraiser (courteously of marc at williams-helde) they look great. i’ll spend the day tomorrow mounting them on foam core, my least fav of production, but makes photos look artsy fartsy.

angel’s craving of chicken tacos were satisfied, she ate two, and afterwards complain that she shouldn’t have eaten so much. her eyes are always bigger, but i asked if she enjoyed them. that’s all that matters.

angel’s aunt amy is planning a week out here in april, which will be sooo much fun for us all! we’ll plan on having no other out-of-towners so we can all just be. renae’s next trip is end of march, and then monthly after that. which i always forget to mention, but renae bought us a new front loading washing machine on her last visit! and holy crap, i never knew i looked so damn good in clean clothes before! amazing. it should also add a little value to our home too ;)

tonight we’re hanging out with toni, who is spending the night. she still asks if it’s okay for her to come over. my reply is the same, ‘do YOU want to come over?’ angel is always happy to hear about her visits.

i’m off now to take over susan’s place at the jigsaw puzzle table, it’s angel’s new obsession.
