at the mall

angel, renae, deneen and zade are cruising the mall right now. what a sight to see, angel with her oxygen tanks, and the wheel chair. i wish i could’ve been there, but i heard the entire story when they returned. renae and angel explained it much more in depth and with much humor, but when angel was ‘wheeled’ (this makes me laugh!) into nordstroms, she stood up to leave the chair when she suddenly fell in slow motion to the ground! luckily she wasn’t injured. her mother almost had a heart attack and feelings of dropping a newborn child came to her mind. chaos arose, a small crowd gathered to make sure everything was okay, and from that crowd two elderly folks helped out. renae noticed some closed circuit cameras and jokingly said that they should sue. angel chimed in and said it might be a good way to pay for the hospital bills. thelma and louis part 2, on wheels, minus the cliff at the end. deneen arrived at this point with a look of shock, but after realizing everything was okay, onslaught of laughter began.

they walked around south center mall, angel holding the wheelchair for stability. this is a sight to see, angel pushing an empty wheelchair as if she’s pushing around her invisible friend. a few hours later the big oxygen tank (strapped to the back of the wheelchair) level was in the red and nearly empty. renae says i could’ve killed her for doing this, no harm, but they left the portable tank in the car. so they left to grab it. when they got outside, renae realized they parked on the opposite side of the mall! raining, and windy, renae frantically ran, pushing angel in the wheelchair looking for their car. deneen pulled up like the calvary to see two stumped and confused looking people, angel holding all the shopping bags on her lap. renae and angel followed behind deneen’s car like a couple of crazies, but finally found the car. i wish i had pics of this all.
