angel’s childhood cat teener passed away last sunday. she lived an amazing and healthy life. she was 17. i can only hope our other pets to live as long, or at least as healthy. angel was 14 years old when she first got teener, and they have accomplished so much together. i’ll pick up her ashes next week so angel can say a final farewell.

dr. otero caught me before i left the hospital this morning as he gave his condolences about teener. he got word from the RN michelle. this might seem insignificant to you, but for me it’s huge! more importantly angel was happy to hear about is kindness.

more good news, angel’s platelets are up to 60. yesterday, dr. otero was hoping the count would be 40 after the transfusion, but reached 50, and then over night hit 60! he thinks her body might be producing platelets on their own. we’ll see what tomorrow brings.

angel is walking some more now, and even did a couple yoga warrior stances. overachiever ;)

tonight we’re watching the season premiere of LOST, long awaited, and much anticipated. should be a lot of fun.
