angel did pretty well with the chemo. and once again, the nurse was saying that angel probably won’t have any side effects from the new chemo. wrong. she’s nauseated, hot flashes, cold sweats. all managed during treatment though. anytime anyone says she won’t get something, i look back to the odds of a healthy 30 year with colon cancer. i’m not feeling much better, anxious, and sad, but glad to be home where it’s quiet and warm. angel is sleeping away now, she’ll need all the rest she can get before this weekend before renae arrives. it’s been a very long day. deneen was awesome today, helping out with the last bits of angel’s social security disability papers, and completing a small list of to-do’s from susan. toni comes over tonight for a much needed pep talk, and another present body. i couldn’t do this all alone, our friends have been amazing! with a capital a+!
i am beat down, and laying down with angel sounds like so much fun.
