i’ll make this short since i’m not too much in the mood to write.
angel is back at back at virginia mason in the ICU. last night around 10, lan checked her pulse at 48 or so. triple check and got the same reading. her temp was around 94º, a constant since the night before along with cold sweats. a call to malpass, he suggested we just go in.
angel is getting another ct scan on her abdomen and chest, two team of doctors and malpass aren’t sure what she might have. malpass is perplexed (she is off her 5fu drip now). an infection is their best guess until they do more testing. they feel she is ready to leave icu for the 15th floor….again.
angel’s mood is good considering, and is comfortable. she’s lively with the nurses and making them laugh.
i’ll recruit toni or lan to give the proper update on angel’s condition.
btw, it’s our 10 year anniversary of being together. what a way to spend it, $4000 per night hotel, great service, and so-so food. eat your heart out robin leech. we will never forget the big 1-0. also, angel reminded me that today has been two months since her diagnosis. i hope the next two months is smoother for angel’s recovery. i have a good feeling about it, she’s on a couple detours and then she’ll be back on track for the real fight.
more to come in this post, so check back for todays updates.
